Our personal areas of interestThe Manoir de Kercadic is run by Karen and Steve Geipel. We moved here from York in November 2002 and have since very much enjoyed living in this peaceful and beautiful area of Brittany. We have two small, friendly dogs, Muppet and Pippin, and a selection of chickens. For 22 years, Karen was a secondary school teacher of French and German. Steve was trained in catering and before moving here, he was working in catering sales, travelling throughout Europe. Now, of course, he's our chef, his cooking greatly appreciated by guests of all nationalities. We have spent a lot of time and energy on renovation work on the buildings, which date back to 1841. Being keen gardeners, we are extremely proud of the many prizes we have received for our grdens, at local, regional and even national level. |      |
