Welcome

200 meters from the Château of Montfort, a beautiful village of the Dordogne Valley, just 5 km from Sarlat, in the heart of the Black Perigord, a charming stone house of the eighteenth century. We do have 4 bedrooms which combine charm, refinement and comfort. The healthy breakfast and dinner are served in the intimacy of our antique wood-panelled dining room. All four of our charming guest rooms are appointed with attentively-chosen furniture, and have an en-suite bathroom (no tubs) and private toilet. 3 double rooms (with a 160 x 200 cm bed) and 1 twin bedroom (with two single 90 x 200 cm beds or 1 bed 180 x 200 cm) are available. Your bedroom will keep you cool in the summertime and warm and cosy during the wintertime. Our table

La table d'hôtes / dinner. On some evenings and upon prior reservation we offer preparing a tasty dinner for you with seasonal products sourced at the farmers market. On these evenings we will invite you to have an aperitif in the living room, thereafter we will serve you a starter and a main course followed by cheese and a dessert. Our lovely bed and breakfast is open for you all year round. We offer you 4 charming bedrooms. All of them have an en-suite bathroom and toilet. The 2 bedrooms in the attic have air conditioning available. Before booking, please note that all bedrooms are for a maximum of 2 people and that we welcome children over the age of 14 years old. Our areas of interest

Originally from Germany, we fell in love with this house of the eighteenth and its walnut grove, which extends to the river. We came here on vacation when the house was run by lovely Italians with whom we are befriended. And when the house was for sale, we did not hesitate to embark on the adventure: to leave a hectic life for this place with the beneficial calm was a boon!
