Welcome
La Paillère is situated at the heart of a lovely village called Mus. A high magnificent cypress stands next to the entry door of the house. The origins of the house date back to the 16th Century. First established as a farm and then as a parsonage, it finally became a restaurant which, for a little while, belonged to the French singer Régine. Used for the settings of several films, it briefly appeared in an episode of the Saint with Roger Moore. The house was left empty for a few years and was purchased by Chantal and Manuel Blanche who refurbished it completely to turn it into their main residence as well as a welcoming place for guests. Six adorable Bed & Breakfast rooms were then created. La Paillère blends together subtle colours of Provence to the magic of the East with its palm trees, colourful ocres, decoration and furniture brought back from various trips to India. | |
