WelcomeLeft untouched during many years, this ancient manor house has recently been restored to its former glory. The original grandeur of this demeure can now be rediscovered through: The stained glass windows, woodwork, parquet flooring, individual fireplaces and solid oak stairwell; all period features brought back to life through the renovation. The sensitivity in the restoration has created a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The house and garden sit beneath the old ramparts of the famous walled city of Guérande; the medievil city built in 1343 by Jean de Montfort. Overlooking the 'Porte Vannetaise', one of the four gates into the city, 'La Guérandière' offers an ideal location for exploring this unique historical site and surroundings. A quiet breakfast can be served in the garden enclosed by the old stones of Guérande. The French 'art de vivre' is of great importance here.
