At La Galerie as well as swimming in the pool, you can enjoy a game of boules or badminton. La Galerie is 1 km from a leisure lake and beach - the Lac Vert leisure complex. As well as swimming and fishing in the lake, there are pedaloes and canoes for hire. Free activities at the lake include two floodlit tennis courts, a basketball / five-a-side football court, a football pitch, volleyball and table tennis. For the sporty and adventurous, bikes are available for hire locally, to explore the wonderful countryside, cycling through the beautiful vineyards of the Lot valley. Our areas of interest

La Galerie, is 1km from the village of Catus and the lovely lake and beach Lac Vert leisure complex. Cahors, the capital of the Lot is situated on the river 15km away. There is a vineyard trail from the west of Cahors along the Lot valley to the beautiful medieval town of Puy-l'Evêque. To the east of Cahors, sitting high above the Lot valley is St-Cirq-Lapopie. The beautiful town of Sarlat, north of Catus across the Dordogne river, situated in the Dordogne, with its many attractive bastide... [+]

Each bedroom has a comfortable sitting area with a sofa or armchairs. We also offer a free Wi. Fi Internet broadband wireless service. Every bedroom has a private, en-suite bathroom with shower, supplied with towels and toiletries and a hairdryer. The double beds are 160 cm wide (European queen size) and the twin beds are 90 cm wide. Two rooms have no steps, however all rooms are on ground floor level. Breakfast is served in the delightful dining room, a gallery of art. The buffet breakfast, in the summer months, normally includes croissants, bread and toast, seasonal fresh fruit of the region, cereals and yoghurts, jams and honey, coffee and a selection of teas, with seasonal variations. [+]

Comfort - Services

La Galerie has two hectares of beautiful grounds. The large salt-water swimming pool is heated and is 12 x 6 metres. It is surrounded by a large sun terrace with plenty of sun loungers available for sunbathing and relaxing. Guests at La Galerie are provided with pool towels for their convenience. For clients who like to keep in contact via e-mail and wish to access the Internet during their stay, we are able to offer a free Wi. Fi Internet broadband wireless service. Set in the peaceful countryside with gardens and parkland. Our location provides the perfect base for visiting the wonderful sights of this sparsely populated region of south west France, with beautiful natural scenery and medieval architecture. One of the lowest polluted regions of France, with an abundance of lichen found growing on the barks of the French oaks and the many other tree species in the woodland throughout the pure air of the Lot.
