Welcome

Breeders of horses on a farm of 50 hectares, Celine, Josiane and Bernard welcome you in guest room in their field, a few kilometers from a small village Cevennes. Lou Rey offers 3 rooms with views of the 'Long Valley'. The golf ball and ping-pong are available to amateurs. If you fancy a walk, the chestnut is two steps. In half an hour you will have made the turn on a trail in the shade of tall trees and you will return to Rey by another way. In autumn, the flamboyant chestnut, gourmets can track the porcini and chanterelles. The farm tour will allow children to discover the animals... [+]

In the Hayloft: a four-person room with bathroom and toilet, television. A three-person room with bathroom and toilet, television. A room for two people with bathroom and toilet, television. All our rooms can accommodate a cot. They are installed on demand and their occupants stay free. [+]

Our table is open to you every day. Specialties Cévenoles with farm products, seasonal menu: multicolored garden tomatoes (organic) wild boar stew, duck confit, chestnut soup. ... Etc. For picnics, a basket can be prepared [+]

General information

Lou Rey rooms and breakfast in the Cevennes. Breeders of horses on a farm of 50 acres of pine, chestnut and pastures, you are our guests for a day or maybe more, in this house of the 13th century. In sheep have been furnished 3 bedrooms that can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 people. At the table d'hote meals are prepared with products from the farm or sourced locally. I stopped my activity in 2002 to make the reception in bed and breakfast with my wife and my daughter. In the Cevennes the climate is Mediterranean with warm periods in summer and mild winters.

The Rey is located 570 meters above sea level, there is rarely snow in winter but the winter of 2017/18 was snowy with 2 episodes that were however brief. [+]
