Located on the border between Vaucluse and Drôme Provençale, this holiday house in Valréas will enable you to go and discover a historic area, with beautiful lanscapes full of scents. You will have the opportunity to stroll in villages and towns like Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange, Avignon, Grignan, Nyons and others, and discover the architecture, gallo-roman vestiges. Lavender blossoms in July, colors the countryside purble-blue, and offers its scents. During your outings it will be possible to watch the harvest of that plant, along with the distillation of flowers. In the heart of a wine-growing area, you will be able to enjoy all the year round, the famous wines of the Côtes du rhône, such as Valréas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas. From mid-november to mid-march, the truffle makes the region famous. During that period, Richerenches, 4 km from Valréas, is the place for a famous truffle market, where you can wander, and watch both producers and dealers. |                  |
