Nancy and Pascal welcome you to Chasteuil where, in tasteful accordance with local architectural traditions, they have transformed the old village schoolhouse into a cosy, five-room bed and breakfast. South-facing and perched at an altitude of 900 meters, Chasteuil is awash in sunshine and commands stirring views of the surrounding Alpes de Haute-Provence and the Verdon River below. The Gorges du Verdon — France's 'Grand Canyon' — is one of the deepest and most spectacular canyons in Europe. The Grande Randonnée 4, a long-distance hiking trail that follows the traces of an ancient Roman road, passes through the village and by your bedroom door, inviting you on a mountain ramble.
