The Moulin des Sources is a succession of volumes and levels, old barns and annexes added over the centuries. One enters the house through a large vaulted kitchen where there is also a table for the days - very rare - where time would not allow to have lunch outside. A staircase at the end of the corridor separating the kitchen from the first bedroom leads the visitor to the living room, a higher level. The large room, also heated by an impressive fireplace, gives by large glass doors on the terrace bordering the pool surrounded by olive trees. A second flight of stairs climbs to the top floor which houses three other bedrooms. A beautiful suite has finally been installed in the old bread oven, a private entrance serving from the main courtyard. The rooms are thus divided between the different levels, which adds to the intimist side of the premises. Some are rocked by the sound of the fountain animating the pool they overlook, the others open onto a small private terrace exuding the Provençal scents. The entire mill is surrounded by courtyards and flower gardens that protect a stone wall surrounding the property from the wind. It also forms a bulwark against prying eyes, although the size of the hamlet and the tranquility of the situation leave little fears on this side. | |
